Man taken to hospital after home invasion

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

A man is in the hospital after being attacked in his Springfield home.

Police say that a man broke into 791 Worthington Street, and attacked the man inside at around 6:30 p.m. Thursday night.

Nothing was taken from the home.

The man was taken to Mercy with non-life threatening injuries.
