GEORGETOWN, GA (WTVM) -

A Georgia man is facing a felony charge of possessing an alligator in Alabama.

Authorities say 24-year-old Kevin Davis of Georgetown was arrested after someone saw a 3-foot long live alligator in the back of a pickup truck at an apartment complex in Eufala.

Davis is charged with the felony offense of taking or possessing an alligator.

He is being held on a $5,000 bond at the Eufaula Jail.
