MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

The Montgomery Police Department has released the identity of the man wanted in the shooting death of an innocent bystander at Patterson Court last week.

Authorities say 39-year-old Albert Lee Davis is wanted in connection with the shooting death of 23-year-old Alicia Scott.

Scott was sitting outside of an apartment in the Patterson Court housing project when she was caught in an exchange of gunfire involving several adult males.

Police and Central Alabama CrimeStoppers have identified Davis as one of those men.

If you know if his whereabouts you are asked to immediately call your local law enforcement agency or call CrimeStoppers at 215-STOP.

Davis is considered armed and dangerous.
