New charges are being filed after a weekend shooting in Delta sent a 15-year-old boy to the hospital.
Sheriff Roy Miller says they have spoken with the teen and he is expected to recover.
Candis Sherman, 57, has been charged with attempted aggravated murder. She is the boy's mother and was arrested in relation to the shooting Sunday.
The sheriff says the department is not releasing details on a possible motive yet, but a revolver was found at the scene. Miller also confirms the boy was flown to a local hospital to be treated for a gunshot wound.
Sherman remains in the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio.
