ASU project work to close portion of College Avenue

TEMPE, AZ (CBS5) -

A project at Arizona State University will force the closure of College Avenue between Sixth and Seventh streets in both directions from July 29 to Aug. 18.

The following bus routes will be detoured. 

Rt 62 Northbound: East on University to Veterans Way; northwest on Veterans Way to 5th St.; west on 5th St. to resume regular route at Transportation Center.

Rt 62 Southbound: Regular route to College; continue east on 5th St. to Veterans Way; southeast on Veterans Way to University; west on University to Ash; north on Ash to 5th St. to resume regular route.

Rt 72 Northbound: Regular route east on 5th St. to College Ave.; continue east on 5th St. to Veterans Way; south on Veterans Way to University to resume regular route.

Rt 72 Southbound: Regular route west on University to Veterans Way; northwest on Veterans Way to 5th St.; west on 5th St. to resume regular route at Transportation Center.

Express 511 Northbound: Regular route east on 5th St. to College Ave.; continue east on 5th St. to Veterans Way; south on Veterans Way to University to resume regular route.

Express 511 Southbound: Regular route west on University to Veterans Way; northwest on Veterans Way to resume regular route at Transportation Center.

Orbit Venus Forward: Regular route east on 5th St. to Ash; south on Ash to University; east on University to Veterans Way; northwest on Veterans way to 5th St.; west on 5th St. to resume regular route at Transportation Center. Then east on 5th St. to Veterans Way; southeast on Veterans way to University Dr.; west on University Dr. to Mill; Ave.; south on Mill Ave. to resume regular route.

Orbit Venus Back: Regular route north on Mill to University; east on University to Veterans Way; northwest on Veterans Way to 5th St.; west on 5th St. to resume regular route at Transportation Center. Then east on 5th St. to Veterans Way.; southeast on Veterans Way to University Dr.; west on University Dr. to Ash Ave.; north on Ash Ave. to 5th St.; west on 5th St. to resume regular route.

Orbit Mercury Eastbound: Regular route to College; continue east on 5th St. to Veterans Way; south on Veterans Way to University, continue onto McAllister to resume regular route.

Orbit Mercury Westbound: Regular route to McAllister and University; northwest on Veterans Way to 5th St.; west on 5th St. to resume regular route at Transportation Center.

Orbit Mars Northbound: Regular route to McAllister and University; northwest on Veterans Way to 5th St.; west on 5th St. to resume regular route at Transportation Center.

Orbit Mars Southbound: Regular route to College; continue east on 5th St. to Veterans Way; southeast on Veterans Way to University, continue onto McAllister to resume regular route.
