FRANKFORT, KY (FOX19) -

An error during Monday's midday Kentucky Lottery Pick 4 drawing is leading to a second drawing.

Lottery officials say one of the balls that was supposed to go into the first chamber of the draw machine inadvertently bounced over to the second chamber of the machine when being loaded. This led to nine balls being in the first chamber and 11 in the second.

As a result, the Kentucky Lottery will pay all prizes from the first drawing and will be conducting a second drawing in the next few minutes will all balls in the correct chamber. Players who held tickets for Monday's midday Pick 4 drawing (7/29) should hold onto them as a second set of winning numbers will be drawn. All prizes will be paid on both sets of winning numbers drawn for the midday Pick 4.
