CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

A one of a kind free concert experience, LumenoCity, is coming to the Queen City.

The concerts will be held at Washington Park, right across the street from Music Hall in Cincinnati's Over-the-Rhine neighborhood.

The program will be presented on Saturday, August 3, and Sunday, August 4, and both performances start at 8:30 p.m.

This highly anticipated, first of its kind project marries a live orchestral concert experience with mind-blowing visual elements that you will have to see to believe.

Music Hall officials won't release too many details about what to expect at the show but say you will not be disappointed.

The first half of the concert features John Morris Russell leading the Orchestra as the Cincinnati Pops, along with members of the May Festival Chorus, dancers from Cincinnati Ballet's CBII, and singers from Cincinnati Opera.

Selections from Broadway and film hits and Gershwin's An American in Paris celebrates American music and provides a welcome to Mr. Langrée to his new American orchestra.

For the second half of the program, Mr. Langrée leads the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra in a riveting 40 minute program incorporating a diverse array of visual elements never before presented with a live orchestra in Cincinnati or anywhere in the world.

Through a partnership with Findlay Market, pre-purchased picnic baskets will be available for pickup at the northeast corner of Washington Park.

These gourmet picnics must be ordered online in advance by Wednesday July 31.

Food trucks will also be available in the Emanuel Community Center parking on Race Street across from Washington Park. In addition to paid parking under and around Washington Park, free parking will be generously provided the Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal with the CSO providing free shuttles running between Union Terminal and Washington Park starting at 6:30 p.m. both evenings.

Elm Street will close at 8 p.m. on both Saturday, August 3, and Sunday, August 4, between Grant and 14th streets except for limited access to parking at the Washington Park Garage and lot between Memorial Hall and Music Hall.
