Deputies: Vandals drink Kool-Aid during break-in

UNION, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Someone broke into a Union church's storage building and enjoyed a few Kool-Aid drinks before leaving, according to deputies.

Union County deputies said they were called to Crestview Baptist Church when the pastor discovered the siding was torn off the storage building sometime overnight Sunday.

The pastor told deputies that nothing appeared to be missing except some Kool-Aid drinks.

According to the deputy's report, the Kool-Aid had been left in a tote next to the church and all that was left were two of the foil pouch beverages that were opened and partially drank.

Deputies said the burglars left an estimated $500 in damage to the storage building. The report said the estimated loss of the Kool-Aids was $2.
