The Alabama football team practiced for approximately two hours in shells in the Hank Crisp Indoor Practice Facility.

The team continued preparations for its second scrimmage of fall training camp.

The practice was the 18th of fall camp. After the scrimmage on Saturday the Crimson Tide will take Sunday and Monday off before returning to the practice fields on Tuesday.

Alabama has 10 more practices before meeting Virginia Tech in the season opener.

ESPN.com announced its preseason All-American team on Friday. The Crimson Tide was well represented as three players nabbed the honors.

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix was the lone free safety named to the team and was joined by linebacker C.J. Mosley and wide receiver Amari Cooper.
