Person sent to hospital after being hit by car in Westfield

WESTFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

Westfield police say a person has been sent to the hospital after being hit by a car just before 9 p.m. Friday night.

It happened near the intersection of Main and Noble streets.

The person was rushed to Baystate Medical Center. Their condition is unknown at this time.

Part of that road is closed to traffic as police investigate the crash.

CBS 3 Springfield has a crew on the way and will have the latest information as it becomes available.
