HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) -
An overnight fire in Hamilton has caused around $60 thousand
in damage to a local business.
The Hamilton Fire Department responded to Dixie Tire located
in the 2200 block of Dixie Highway around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday morning.
Upon arrival, crews found fire coming from the east side of
the one story building.
Firefighters say that they had to contend with a large
amount of vehicle tires inside the building which blocked their entrance. Crews
say that the blocked entryway caused the fire to burn more intensely and the
smoke was darker than usual.
Damage has been estimated at $60,000.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is
currently under investigation.
