WALTERBORO, SC (WCSC) -

Several pictures taken in Walterboro show a van and a car submerged in a parking lot in the area of Robertson Boulevard Monday afternoon.

Businesses in the area confirmed that the two vehicles are stuck in a ditch.

Kevin McHugh, a general manager at the nearby Advanced Auto Parts, says that crews are attempting to pull the vehicles out of the water.

"The parking lot over there was flooded and you couldn't see the exit to get out of it," said general manager Kevin McHugh."And they just ran into the ditch."

Law enforcement was spotted in the area closing areas off as crews attempted to remove the vehicles from the parking lot.
