Bus trips planned for march anniversary

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Several local groups plan to send busloads of people to mark the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington.

"The NAACP has two buses that will be traveling to Washington, so does Al Sharpton's group, National Action Network and also Hank Sanders' group will also send buses to Washington, DC," said Sharon Richards, with the Metro Montgomery Chapter of the NAACP.

Groups like the NAACP and National Action Network are participating in a march on August 24th, while other groups are taking part in marches on the actual anniversary, August 28th.
