FLORENCE, AL (WAFF) -

A sign made for Hoover High School's football team is drawing national attention.

The nationally-recognized football team and defending Class 6-A champions  traveled to Florence Thursday night for a pre-season jamboree.

A viewer sent in a picture of a banner cheerleaders from Hoover High School set up before the game. It contains a misspelling that no one noticed until it was unfurled before kick-off.

Spectators took notice and snapped some pictures from the stands. Those photos quickly made it to social media sites like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Hoover went on to win the jamboree against the Falcons, 27 to 6.
