WARREN COUNTY, OH (FOX19) -

A Miamisburg woman is dead after a pickup truck struck her bicycle in Warren County.

The Ohio State Patrol is investigating after the accident which occurred around 8:15 p.m. on Monday evening.

Police say that Barry Riley, 50, was driving a 2006 Ford pickup truck which was towing a small trailer. Riley was heading northbound on Dayton-Oxford Road, turning east on Montgomery Avenue when the accident occurred.

After turning onto Montgomery Avenue, authorities say that Riley's truck went into the left half of the roadway. The truck struck an oncoming bicycle.

The bicyclist, identified as 65-year-old Lora Mrusek, sustained fatal injuries at the scene.

Riley was not injured in the crash.

The incident remains under investigation. Charges are pending.
