BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

WAFB is joining a city-wide effort called Trevor's Wish to help grant a young boy's dream and we're hoping you'll help.

Trevor Sims, 10, is an amazing boy battling terminal cancer. Several groups have offered to give him any wish he wants.

Instead of going to Disney World or meeting a celebrity, Trevor wants to help feed the hungry. He has organized food collections through his church. We want to take it one step further.

Starting Monday, you can drop off donations at any CC's coffee shop or at the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank. The effort runs from Sept. 1 through Sept. 7.
