PRESCOTT, AZ (CBS5) -

A 33-year-old man is in jail after going on a destructive rampage in downtown Prescott early Thursday morning.

The Prescott Police Department said Daniel Cedergreen told officers he was upset and frustrated living in Prescott, however, he didn't admit to the damage.

Police said Cedergreen flipped over several signs and potted plants in front of the 100 block of South Montezuma Street. He also lit two large banners and a sign on fire in the area, according to authorities.

A witness called police to an alley behind Whiskey Row where Cedergreen appeared to be lighting items in a dumpster on fire.

He was booked in Yavapai County Jail in Prescott on arson and felony criminal damage charges.
