TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital in critical condition after colliding with a car on Dorr Street and Richards Road in west Toledo.

The accident happened around 5:54 Friday morning as both drivers were heading to work. Toledo police say Dr. Nabil Ebraheim, 62, of Ottawa Hills, was driving a Mercedes Benz southbound on Richards and stopped at a flashing red light. Lawrence Hilton, 54, of Swanton, was traveling eastbound on Dorr riding his motorcycle and struck the passenger side of the car.

Hilton was wearing a helmet but was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.

Ebraheim did not have any injuries.

Witnesses on scene say there was no fog in the area during the time of the crash.

No charges have been filed yet, as the investigation continues.
