Military official found guilty of sex crime in Ozark

Authorities say a high ranking military official has been charged in a sex crime.

Ozark officials say 32-year-old Ryan Gericke has been found guilty of traveling to meet a child for sex.

Police say Gericke was accused of putting an ad on Craigslist soliciting for a "younger woman".

An undercover officer pretending to be a 15-year-old girl made contact with Gericke where he then arranged a meeting with the officer.

When Gericke arrived to the meeting place he was arrested and taken into custody.

The sentencing for Gericke will take place next month.
