FLORENCE, KY (FOX19) -

On September 3, Boone County Sheriff's investigators received an 11 count indictment from an impaneled Boone County Grand Jury charging a Florence, Kentucky man with the residential burglaries and related offenses throughout the county nearly one month ago.

Paul Samuel Lay, 32, of Florence, is charged with four counts of Burglary 2nd degree, 4 counts of Criminal mischief 3rd degree, two counts of Theft by unlawful taking, and one count of Persistent felony offender 2nd degree. 

Investigators accused Lay of kicking in the doors of homes on Petersburg Road in Hebron and Old Union Road, Rice Pike, and Church Hill in Union, Kentucky to gain entry and stealing a variety of goods from August 6th through 8th

Lay is currently being held in the Kenton County jail on a burglary charge.
