KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

A 28-year-old is being credited with saving her family from a house fire Thursday afternoon.

The fire broke out at a home on Norledge, near Kensington Avenue about 12:30 p.m.

While no injuries were reported, the fire department said four adults and six children were displaced.

A woman was at home at the time with two kids and two grandchildren. She told KCTV5 that a 28-year-old daughter dying of cancer got all of them out safely.
