Garbage Crews Overwhelmed with Storm Debris

No matter where you live, there's no doubt piles of storm debris lining your street. In Montgomery, city crews say be patient. They're working as fast as they can to get to it all.

Right now, sanitation department officials say they're following their normal garbage routes, but it's a lot slower going.

Crews are using 10 tree-loaders, 25 dump trucks, and 50 garbage trucks to get the job done. But even with all that equipment, they say it could be another month before they cover the entire city.

Once all the trees and limbs are picked up, they are being hauled to the north Montgomery landfill.
