PRATTVILLE, AL -

Cobbs Ford Village, a 2.52-acre in-line shopping center located just off of Interstate 65 on Cobbs Ford Road in Prattville, Ala., is adding three new tenants to its lineup.

Smashburger, Gigi's Cupcakes and Chipotle Mexican Grill have signed leases with Brentwood, Tenn.-based GBT Realty Corporation for inclusion in the development that broke ground this April and will be completed in November, earlier than the anticipated spring 2014 opening.

Prattville will be the second Alabama location for Denver-based Smashburger, a rapidly expanding "better burger" restaurant concept with more than 200 locations in 29 states and four international countries. The Madison, Ala. location opened in June 2012 at GBT's The Shoppes of Madison.

Nashville, Tenn.-based Gigi's Cupcakes, a purveyor of confectionary treats with more than 80 locations in 23 states, is opening its 12th Alabama location at Cobbs Ford Village.

Denver-based Chipotle Mexican Grill (NYSE: CMG) opens its seventh location in Alabama. The national brand is celebrating its 20th year in business and operates more than 1,500 restaurants.

These newest tenants join previously announced Starbucks Coffee, Aspen Dental and Firehouse Subs. "This has been a great location to lease," said Fraser Schaufele, vice president of leasing for GBT. "We are pleased to bring these well-known tenants to Prattville and look forward to opening several months ahead of schedule."

The company is currently in lease negotiations for two of the four remaining available spaces.
