FLORENCE, AL (WAFF) -

A Shoals man accused of killing a 13-year-old boy in a hit-and-run spent Tuesday afternoon in court for a pre-trial hearing.

James O'Neal Wilson, 42, is charged with felony leaving the scene of an accident with injuries or fatality.

Investigators say Wilson's vehicle struck Da'Santo Ingram last October along County Road 457 and 251 in Lauderdale County.

Attorneys from both sides are still discussing the case. Trial is set for Sept. 23.
