Lee Co. murder victim's wife, 3 others indicted

OPELIKA, AL (WSFA) -

The four suspects arrested in the murder of Carl Ellis Dickinson have been indicted.

The victim was found dead inside his home on Lee Road 649 in Waverly on Sept. 8. Officers arrived and located the victim who was suffering from gunshot wounds to his upper body.

Two of the suspects, Jake Ellis Bartlett, 21, of Notasulga, and Paul Nathan Phillips, 45, of Waverly, were each charged with one count of murder and one count of hindering prosecution.

The victim's wife, Angela Marie Dickinson, 30, of Waverly, was charged with one county of murder and one count of criminal solicitation. Authorities say she is the wife of the victim.

Travis Lamont Kyles, 20, of Tuskegee, was also arrested and charged in connection with the murder.
