WEST SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

The Eastern States Exposition kicked off Friday morning at 8 a.m.

The Big E is located at 1305 Memorial Ave. in West Springfield.

Officials said the Big E holds nearly 450 vendors selling everything from leather to hot tubs. According to officials, the exposition also has 95 food vendors, many of them with fried offerings on the menu.

The Big E has at least 50 rides for children, along with a petting zoo and barns filled with various farm animals.

The fair will operate until Sept. 29.
