HOLYOKE, MA (WSHM) -

Two men were killed in a shooting that happened just after 2 a.m. Saturday, near the intersection of Sargeant and Chestnut Streets.

Saturday night, police released the names of the two victims.  They are Richard Alequin-Hernandez, 25, of Chicopee and Jose Santiago, 20, of Holyoke.

Capt. Denise Duguay of the Holyoke Police Department told CBS 3 that multiple weapons were used in the shooting.  One body had remained at the active crime scene, while the other victim was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead later.

Both Holyoke's Criminal Investigation Bureau and the State Police Detective Unit are investigating the incident.
