College and Career Night draws thousands

Thousands of high school students and their families flocked to the Junior League of Montgomery's 29th annual College and Career Night.

They had the chance to hear directly from dozens of college recruiters from across the country. That is if they could handle lines. Students appreciated the chance to speak one on one with the schools in which they're interested.

"You don't find a vast majority of colleges in one spot at one time," said Brittany Dallas, a senior at LAMP. "Rather than visiting each campus and adviser or representative, it's a good opportunity with them all in one place."

Students also heard about scholarships and grants to help pay for colleges.
