Tuscaloosa deputies arrest 3 on meth charges

TUSCALOOSA COUNTY, AL (WBRC) -

Tuscaloosa County authories say they found a meth lab, a syringe, and three people either possessing or cooking meth in McCalla.

On Wednesday, deputies with the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office along with Lakeview Police went to a home in the 20000 block of Sycamore Road in McCalla. Once on scene, authorities say they found a one pot meth lab. The following people were arrested and charged:

- Hunter Blake Lucas, 21 - Unlawful Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance, Drug Trafficking, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

- Shawn Jefferson Lucas, 20 - Unlawful Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance, Drug Trafficking, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

- Cynthia Lucas Hassell, 23 - Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

An agent with the West Alabama Narcotics Task Force also responded to the scene to assist.
