Student shot at high school football game

The NBC affiliate WPMI in Mobile reported the shooting occurred last night in the parking lot during a high school football game.

The shooting occurred outside Ladd Peebles Stadium during the Murphy v. Blount game.

Officials say the student, who was shot in the mouth, was taken a local hospital and is in serious condition.

Witnesses say the student was an innocent bystander.

No word on any suspects and no other information is known at this time.
