SELMA, AL (WSFA) -

Selma Police say a shooting at a Selma nightclub Sunday left one man dead.

At approximately 1:26 a.m. Sunday police responded to the 700 block of Idaho Street, a few miles south of the Edmund Pettus Bridge, to the report of a shooting at a local night club

When police arrived they learned the victim, a 22-year-old black male suffering from gunshot wounds, had been transported from the scene by a personal vehicle.

After the vehicle transporting the victim stalled, a patrol officer transported the victim from the location to a local hospital. The victim was later pronounced dead.

Police say after further investigation they identified 19-year-old Oscar Blevins as the shooter

Witnesses say that after a previous altercation with Blevins' family, the victim approached Blevins where he pulled out handgun, firing a total of four shots into the victim.

Blevins later turned himself into the Selma Police Department. He is currently being held at the Dallas County Jail for Murder with a $150,000 bond.
