GUNTERSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

A third-grader and a city worker were taken to the hospital with minor injuries after a wreck involving a school bus in Guntersville.

Just before 3 p.m. Monday, a city truck was turning left off of Sunset Drive when it was rear-ended by a school bus, according to school officials. The bus carried students from Cherokee Elementary and was headed to the middle school off of Sunset Drive.

Another bus was brought in to take the students home.
