Hormel Foods is releasing a new flavor of SPAM specifically catered to the tastebuds of local people: Teriyaki!

As part of the launch this fall, the makers of the brand are holding "The New SPAM Teriyaki Guess and Drive Away" contest in partnership with Honolulu Ford Lincoln.

They'll be giving one lucky SPAM fan a chance to win a one-year lease on a Ford Flex vehicle. The contest begins on Saturday, September 21 with a kick-off event at Wet ‘N' Wild in Kapolei from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

In addition, Hawaii News Now will also be holding its own contest to win two cases of this new flavor of SPAM!

Steve talks to Scott Gamble, vice president of LH Gamble, to get all the details.
