GOODYEAR, AZ (CBS5) -

The Goodyear Police Department and the Department of Public Safety vehicle task force teamed up to bust a chop shop near 57th Avenue and Baseline Road.

They found guns, stolen cars and drugs inside late Thursday morning.

"This is one of those joint efforts where the task force came together with Goodyear PD to take someone off the streets," DPS spokesman Officer Carrick Cook.

A man and woman were arrested. The woman was eventually released.

The investigation is still ongoing.
