PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Tempe police on Friday morning said a 23-year-old woman from Micronesia who disappeared while visiting family in Tempe was found safe.

Tempe police said Niorekin Kansou, who speaks very little English, was last seen about 2 a.m. Wednesday at the relative's home in the 200 block of West Hermosa.

Police did not say where she was found or the circumstances of her disappearance.

The family reported that her behavior seemed out of character and that she seemed distracted on Wednesday.
