Man arrested for murder reportedly starved mother, fed her drugs

 

PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT)-  A man was arrested in Paragould for allegedly starving his mother and feeding her drugs.
     
Ronald Goodwin was wanted out of Memphis but was arrested in Paragould on murder charges by U.S. Marshals. Arkansas State Police and the Paragould Police Department were also involved in his arrest.
     
Police say Goodwin also stole his mother's social security number.

He now sits behind bars in the Greene County Jail awaiting extradition to Memphis.
