CAMILLA, GA (WALB) -

Baconton Charter had little trouble with Stewart County Thursday, picking up their first win, 34-6, in Camilla.

It was homecoming at Centennial Stadium  in a battle of two winless teams.

Stewart County had a few offensive sparks in the first half, including a double reverse down to the Blazer five yard line.

But a holding penalty drew that back, much like many of their other big plays.

One play after the reverse, Blazer DB Narocis Lewis picked off the pass and took it 55 yards the other way to the endzone.

The Blazers converted on the two point conversion to make it 14-0.

Lewis picked off another pass late in the first half, returning this one to the goalline before being dragged down.

The Blazers punched it in to make it a 28-0 lead at half.

Baconton travels to North Cobb Christian next Friday, while the Royal Knights have the week off before going to Seminole County.
