Mother concerned about son's identity after backpack is lost


One mother is asking for the public's assistance today to help find her son's backpack that contains valuable information.

Jan Marie says her son was traveling from Louisiana to his home in Tennessee on a Greyhound bus when he lost the bag. This isn't just any bag however it's a MTSU football player's backpack.

Due to lack of space he was forced to place his backpack in the cargo section under the bus.

Marie isn't concerned for the bag itself however, but rather what's inside the bag. A green accordion folder resides inside that bag and it contains all the important information about her son.

"It has his military discharge papers, social security card, bank statements and more." Marie says.

The backpack is blue with MTSU and the number 60 in silver, similar to the one pictured.

The family is now offering a one hundred dollar reward for the return of the bag with the contents enact.
