The future envisioned by The Jetsons may not be far off.
A new study says that 47 percent of American jobs are at risk of being automated in the next 20 years.
Carl Frey and Michael Osborne of Oxford University authored the report: "The Future of Employment: How Susceptible Are Jobs to Computerization?"
Frey and Osborne say that the study doesn't mean that those jobs necessarily will be automated, but that it is possible.
Administrative, transpiration and logistics, production, services, sales and construction jobs are seen as the most vulnerable.
