PHOENIX (CBS5) -
Phoenix police were trying to find witnesses who could shed light on the shooting death of a man in his 20s Sunday night.
A police spokesman said the man's body was found in the road near Third Avenue and Sherman Street about 8:30 p.m.
A resident of the Grant Park Apartments just a block from where the man's body was found called police to report gunshots had awakened him.
There were reports of a party or some sort of "social gathering" at the apartment complex Sunday night.
Police said they were getting little cooperation from residents at the apartment complex.
No other information was immediately available.
