CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Dove and Kroger officials are uniting for two self-esteem workshops for over 100 girls from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati.

The event is part of Dove Self-Esteem Weekend, a nationwide initiative to raise awareness for the need to help girls form a positive self-image.

Dove research has found that six out of ten girls stop doing activities they love because they feel anxiety about the way they look. Through its Let's Make Girls Unstoppable campaign, Dove hopes to shine a light on the girls who continue doing what they love.

Tuesday's workshops will be held at the Unilever Kroger Office on Vine Street. The event is led by an Ohio-native and self-esteem ambassador, Jess Weiner.

She stopped by the FOX19 Morning News to share tips on helping girls reach their full potential.
