CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

The Greater Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky chapter of Crimestoppers is hosting its 14th annual awards breakfast at the Hyatt Regency.

For more than 30 years, Crimestoppers has assisted in the apprehension and conviction of criminals, as well as the recovery of stolen property and illegal narcotics.

Often hailed as one of the top chapters in the United States, Crimestoppers is funded by donations and community support.

The money is used to reward tipsters all while preserving anonymity.
