LIBERTY CO., GA (WTOC) -

A Liberty County man is facing charges after a weekend standoff with police. 

Investigators say Ryan Messer aimed his gun at officers and was shot in a standoff stemming from a domestic dispute in Hinesville.

Messer was shot in the arm and taken to the hospital. No one else was injured in the incident.

Messer is currently in custody, while charges have not yet been released.
