MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Coming up today on WSFA 12 News at Noon:

Police say they have arrested and charged the victim's family member with the city's 40th homicide.

Montgomery Police say 23-year-old Nicktavius Pringle has been arrested and charged with one count of murder after turning himself into detectives on Friday.

Pringle was transported to the Montgomery County Detention Facility with a $75,000 bond.

 

Alabama State Troopers say two single-vehicle crashes that occurred on Saturday, resulted in fatality.

The first crash occurred at 4:00 p.m. on Dallas County 85, 12 miles south of Sardis.

55-year-old Darrell Brown was killed when the 1995 Honda Accord he was driving left the roadway and overturned.

The second crash occurred at 7:30 p.m. on Montgomery County 39, two miles south of Ramer.

46-year-old Kenneth Boswell was killed when the 1999 Chevy Monte Carlo he was driving, left the roadway and overturned.

Officials say both victims were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
