CATHERINE, AL (WSFA) -

The Alabama Department of Public Safety says it is investigating the cause of a crash in Wilcox County that killed a Maplesville man.

The crash happened around 1:45 p.m. Tuesday on Alabama 5 approximately one mile south of Catherine.

Alabama State Troopers say the crash involved just one vehicle, a commercial truck being driven by 33-year-old Jason Osgood.

Troopers say Osgood was killed when the truck left the roadway and overturned.

No additional information was immediately available. An investigation is ongoing.
