ENTERPRISE, AL (WSFA) -

The Enterprise Police Department says it has arrested a second student and charged them with making a terrorist threat against the Enterprise School System. The suspects are not identified because of their status as minors.

The first student was arrested on Oct. 8, the second on Oct. 10.

The investigation started around 10 a.m. Tuesday after the EPD received a complaint involving a threat made to an undetermined school on a social media website.

During the investigation, authorities found that the juveniles posted a threat on an anonymous website directed to students at Dauphin Jr. High School. Investigators have not released details about what the message specifically said.

The juveniles were taken to the Southeast Alabama Diversion Center.

The Chief of Police was closely involved with investigators assigned to the case and after examining all the evidence it appeared there was no credible threat to students in the school system. As a precaution, added security measures were put in place during the investigation.

The police department does not believe there will be any more arrests.
