ASU and members of the Montgomery Clean City Commission are joining forces early Friday morning to clean-up and beautify the city streets that surround Alabama State University. Students and local residents are getting out to both clean up and beautify the city streets that surround the campus.

The effort will take place between 8 a.m. - 10 a.m. and it is being sponsored on campus by ASU's Center for Leadership & Public Policy (the same folks who bring you the renowned Bridge Builder's Breakfast), and the ASU Office of Student Affairs.

The name for the project is "Hornets Unify to Beautify."

All volunteers (it's open to the public) are asked to meet in the lot directly across from ASU's Buskey Hall (on the corner of North University & Harris Way) at 8 a.m.

All volunteers get a free T-shirt and prizes will also be awarded!
