THIBODAUX, LA (WAFB) -

According to Thibodaux Chief of Police Scott Silverii, a man was found cuddled up and sleeping in the backseat of a vehicle early Friday morning; the problem is that it was not his vehicle.

According to police reports, 22-year-old Thomas Werth was drinking the night before and decided to take a nap in the back seat of the vehicle as he was walking home.

Just after 7 a.m., the vehicle owner's son walked out of his mother's house to find the stranger sleeping in the back seat.

Werth was arrested and taken to the Thibodaux Police Department for booking.

A photo of Werth was not provided by the police department.
