LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

Police are searching for two masked suspects after they allegedly sprayed a woman with a chemical agent and stole her jewelry.

Butler County Sheriff's were called to a model home, located in the 6700 block of Corkwood Knoll, just before 1:30 p.m. on Thursday afternoon. Authorities arriving on the scene say that a 29-year-old employee of Ryan Homes was working at the address when two suspects wearing masks attacked her.

Officers say that the suspects, believed to be in their mid 40s, attacked the victim from behind by spraying her with a chemical agent. Authorities say that the suspects stole jewelry from the victim before fleeing in an unknown direction.

The woman was able to call for help from a nearby residence. Officers say she was transported to West Chester Medical Center for decontamination of the chemical spray.

Sheriff's Deputies are currently looking for two suspects. Sheriffs say that both were wearing leather coats.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the Butler County Sheriff's Dispatch Center at (513) 785-1300.
