LAWRENCE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Alabama state troopers reported that a woman was killed in a crash on Friday.

State troopers said Iwanna Amrein, 53, of Falkville was killed when her compact car collided with a tractor-trailer on Alabama Highway 101, five miles south of Town Creek. Troopers reported that the wreck happened at 5:30 p.m.

Troopers said that Amrein was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. The other driver, Gregory Hittner, 60, was not injured in the wreck.

This crash is still under investigation.
